Q6 dummy represents the biological characteristics of 6-year-old children, with high biological simulation of the dummy, which can replace the human body in various testing experiments. The Q-series dummy has better biological realism compared to the P-series dummy. The biomechanical information from the biomechanical response curves of children and scaled adults has been used to define false responses. Moreover, the human body measurements of the Q6 dummy are based on CANDAT data.
Structure:
The device is a human simulation device composed of head, neck, chest, abdomen, lumbar spine, buttocks, legs, arms and coats corresponding to the real human body one by one. It is composed of rubber, plastic and foam with metal and plastic skeleton covers to simulate the muscles. It has similar impact resistance characteristics to the human body, and its size and quality represent the 6-year-old children's dummy. During the experiment, acceleration sensors, load sensors, displacement sensors, and other devices were installed at specific positions inside the Q6 child dummy to measure the acceleration, load, displacement, and other data of the tested components during the front side collision of the car for performance analysis.

The Q dummy is suitable for CRS evaluation in both frontal and side impacts, as well as for the dual purpose of customer evaluation and research. Possible applications include:
- UN R129 Child Restraint System (CRS) Test
- EuroNCAP testing
- C-NCAP testing
- Latin-NCAP testing
- K-NCAP testing
- ASEAN NCAP testing
- ANCAP testing
The Q-series dummy is a children's series dummy launched after the P-series dummy. Compared to the P series dummy, the biomechanical characteristics of the Q series dummy have been improved, based on the dummy response defined by the biomechanical information response curves of children and scaled down adults. This series of dummies can be equipped with acceleration sensors, angular velocity sensors, force sensors, displacement sensors, etc., to evaluate the damage suffered by the dummy in various situations.
In order to make the child dummy easy to install and disassemble, SF Company has optimized the dummy structure to ensure that the dummy can be quickly disassembled and assembled, and to minimize the impact of sensors on the dummy's motion characteristics, protecting the integrity of sensors and cables inside the dummy.
