The TNO-10 seat belt dummy is a loading device for dynamic testing and research and development of seat belts in car collision simulation experiments. Its physical mass and external dimensions are designed according to a 50% body distribution. The dummy was designed with a suitable counterweight in the collision test, with the forearm removed and only one lower leg. This dummy is suitable for regulatory tests such as GB14166-2013 and ECE R16.
Structure:
TNO-10 dummy is mainly composed of materials such as metal, fiberglass, and polyurethane. Metal and fiberglass materials are used to simulate the skeleton of the dummy, while polyurethane materials are wrapped around the skeleton to simulate the skin and muscles of the dummy. The dummy mainly consists of five parts: head, neck, torso, thighs, and calves. Each component is connected to each other by its joints. The dummy is wearing a specially designed jacket and has a soft chest pad installed on its chest.

The TNO-10 dummy is a loading device used for dynamic testing and development of seat belts in car collision simulation tests. Its physical mass and external dimensions are consistent with those of a 50th percentile adult male. This dummy is suitable for regulatory tests such as GB14166-2013 and ECE R16.
The TNO-10 dummy is mainly composed of materials such as metal, fiberglass, and polyurethane.
The TNO-10 dummy produced by SAF has been improved and upgraded based on the original TNO-10 design, eliminating the phenomenon of seat belts and dummy heads being easily damaged during collision tests. At the same time, in response to the situation where the chest chain is prone to breakage, a chest chain that better meets the test requirements was used. In addition, the most prominent highlight of the TNO-10 dummy produced by SAF is the improvement of the skin liquefaction phenomenon of the original TNO-10 dummy after long-term use.
